Banana Chocolate Sunflower Seed Madness!

I have to give my partner credit for this recipe. One evening we were both feeling like something sweet but didn't have much at home to fulfill our sweet tooth with... Until my partner decided to throw together a few staples we have in the cupboard. It was so easy and quick to make, and such a hit with the tastebuds that it has now become a regular "go to" dessert. This recipe serves two greedy adults.

INGREDIENTS

1.5 to 2 tbsp Coconut oil

1 banana

60g of sunflower seeds

4 tsp of cacao

Pinch of cinnamon

Pinch of vanilla powder

2 tbsp honey

Optional: 2 pieces of PANA chocolate (or any other vegan chocolate but Pana's the best!)

Slice banana into 1/4 pieces with the skin still on. Heat up coconut oil in a pan on medium heat. Peel the sliced banana pieces and place into the hot pan. Mix the sunflower seeds, cacao, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl and then add the mix on top of the bananas in the pan. Pour the honey on top of the mixture and let the bananas fry for 3 to 5 minutes on one side. Turn bananas over and gently stir the seed mix so that the dry ingredients become sticky. You can add a little more coconut oil if you find the seed mix is too dry. Plate up and add 1 piece of vegan chocolate on top as garnish (not essential though, delicious without it). Now it's ready to eat! Nom nom nom
