
why vegan?
So here's the truth: I'm not vegan. But, my partner is. A few years ago he decided to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Being a foodie that decision hit me hard. What do you mean no more meat? No more eggs, no more milk?
Suprisingly enough, moving towards a vegan lifestyle myself wasn't that difficult. I always enjoyed vegetarian food so cutting out the essentials to make the dish vegan instead was pretty easy.
A lot of friends and family found it very difficult adapting to having a vegan family member. Honestly, it's just because most of us are so used to cooking with animal products we can't imagine creating something tasty without them. Hopefully this blog will give you some ideas to help incorporate more greens into your diet, or perhaps invite that vegan/vegetarian friend you haven't seen in ages over for dinner.
